My Last Song

For you I am an open book
But you never gave worth a look
I waited for you all the while
What did I get? An Indifferent smile!

My fault it was, I could not understand,
The way things should be not the way I want
I thought I did my best but I was wrong
I couldn't save it and its the last song

No feelings are left its all vacant
No words are left its all drained
My brain and my heart collided this time
I cannot explain why I am writing this rime

You ask me reasons there's nothing to tell
Because its all hollow and my life has become a hell
Waiting for the right moment to go as far as I can
And hoping everything ends like it never began.

Et Tu Brute

Ever came across those who make you feel as if,
you are the one so close and special to share their griff.

They leave no stone unturned to please you by their words
Till your stomach gets churned, they'll treat you with all the curds.

Your mind will never envision any conspiracy behind all this
could anyone with such precision, be sweet and sugary with a bliss.

Did they plan all they could? Or they want something from you
Do they actually want your good? Or they will trample upon you.

Glee with their thirty two out they'll welcome you warmly.
Inside their brains they shout they want to kill you coldly.

Once you learn their secret mission you feel trapped & helpless.
You dont know what can be their vision you may not even guess.

Pandora's Box

A copy of Pandora's box
is there kept above me,
which must not open as I plea
but is somehow unlatched secretly.

When the sky is deep & dark
The box above is dandled,
and then flows all the thoughts
which are difficult enough to handle.

As I look at the wall of my room,
A picture is figured out by me
somewhat blurred & expressionless
trying to convey something to me.

I remember the flashback of the day
which has just passed by,
The emotions exposed by the box,
wonders me and I ask it why?

It makes me giggle at times
and suddenly I cry the other
While sometimes I ponder over
Why do I sometimes shudder?

I question myself that why is that,
mood swings occur so abruptly.
why do I often behave that way
can't everything ends subtly?

Sometimes I think of those
who are changing so rapidly.
While sometimes I think of those
who always act so clumsily.

When I brood so much
it makes me feel dizzy
I toss and turn like in a hutch.
and make my hair all frizzy.

My box makes the tears
roll out from eyes and weep
And then I start feeling drowsy
So I close my box and sleep.

They Say, They Believe.

Ain't that strange what they say,
strikingly opposite to what they believe.

Be what you are and act like one (they say)
Because you will be under surveillance (they believe)
It seems so gross when you don't follow.
They tear your heart and make it holllow.

Do what you feel and you'll have an edge (they say)
Because you will be judged at each step. (they believe)
Being opinionated is all what you need
Or nobody will ever pay you a heed.

Speak your heart to your opponent (they say)
Because it might be your last moment. (they believe)
All's well that ends well, They say.
If not well, welcome to hell, They Believe.

I hope You Die

The words said by you screech in my ears,
The torture, the torment now I cant bear.
I am paying till date for all your deeds,
One chance to kill you is all what I need.

I may sound brutal and insanely heartless,
But my loathe for you, I just cant express.
Just when I think about starting afresh,
You stoop so low and stay like a pest.

The sadist in you will burn in the hell,
I prefer to die if I can shoot you as well.
The venom inside me was infused by you,
As I wanted freedom and not be subdued.

I hope you weep before going to sleep,
So that you catch on my wounds so deep,
Are not healed as the time passes by
I wish. I cry. I hope you die.

Love You Mom

She was the one who was there
When the world was new to you
She was the one who was there
When you were in pain or blue

She was the one who was there
When you wanted someone to listen to u
She was the one who said
“Anku, it looks nice on you”

She was the one to say “Its alright”
When you had a scary nightmare
She was the one who was there
To apply sandalwood tilak and say prayer

She was the one in the morning
To get you out of the bed
She was the one in the night
To give u goodnight kiss on forehead

She was the one to cook
Great meals at home for you
She was the one who was there
When u caught cold or flu

She was there at the beginning
And she'll be there your whole life through
She'll be there in your mind and heart
Just like a mother is supposed to do.

I Have Learnt

People never change, feelings do,
It was never me, always you.
Premonitions of others they carry,
Burdened with them they wary.

Thought of forgiving is replaced,
 Ego and anger they embraced.
All are selfish, they always say,
Whilst the Sunshines, they make hay.

How hard you may try to your best,
For them you are below from the rest
Forgetting and moving on as easy as pie,
They make you feel worse even if you die.

Words are mightier than actions they know,
Grudges and resentment they will always tow.
Happiness of the past is forgotten in a blow,
As a part of their brain which will never grow.

I have learnt to walk in the middle of road
Neither good nor bad feelings I will bode.
Since People never change, feelings do,
It was never me, it was always you!
